Supporting Your Child's Journey

What We Focus On

Every child's body has a God-given capacity to heal, organize, and thrive. At Apricity, we simply create the conditions for that to happen.

Our deepest specialty is pregnant mothers, newborns, and infants because gentle, intentional care in those first weeks and months creates a foundation that shapes everything that follows. We also walk alongside toddlers and older children with the same whole-body approach.

Functional Bracing Support

  • Functional Bracing is a supportive, external approach used alongside Craniosacral Fascial Therapy (CFT) and therapeutic bodywork within my scope as a Licensed Massage Therapist. It provides gentle, sustained positioning to offer the body consistent sensory input and support during movement.

Fascia plays a key role in how the body organizes movement and distributes tension. Through hands-on work and supported positioning, we work with the fascial system to encourage improved body awareness, comfort, and ease of movement over time.

Functional Bracing supports the body’s natural processes, allowing for more organized and efficient movement patterns without forcing change.

*Apricity Integrative Family Wellness provides wellness-based hands-on and movement support services. We do not diagnose, prescribe, or treat medical conditions. Our services complement, but do not replace, medical care.

  • Functional Bracing may be a supportive option for children who would benefit from additional guidance in how their bodies experience movement, positioning, and body awareness.

This approach is often helpful for children who:

    • appear to have difficulty finding comfortable or stable positions

    • prefer to stay on their toes or have unique movement patterns

    • seem to fatigue easily during movement or play

    • have challenges with balance, coordination, or body awareness

    • appear tense, asymmetrical, or less organized in their posture

    • would benefit from additional sensory input and support during daily activities

Functional Bracing is used alongside hands-on care to support the body’s ability to experience more organized, comfortable, and efficient movement over time.

Craniosacral Fascial Therapy (CFT)

  • Craniosacral Fascial Therapy (CFT) – a gentle, hands-on approach that works by releasing restrictions in your child's fascial and craniosacral systems that often develop from birth trauma or early experiences. Think of it as helping your child's body reset and heal naturally. I've seen incredible transformations in children struggling with:

    • Feeding issues

    • Developmental delays

    • Movement coordination

    • Behavioral challenges

    • Learning difficulties

    • Sleep issues

The best part? It's gentle, non-invasive, and works with your child's natural healing abilities.

*Apricity Integrative Family Wellness provides wellness-based hands-on and movement support services. We do not diagnose, prescribe, or treat medical conditions. Our services complement, but do not replace, medical care.

  • In my practice, I primarily focus on working with children and moms but CFT is effective for all ages and benefits a variety of conditions.

Sensory & Movement Support

  • The fascia feeds the brain. When the body’s fascial system is free, organized, and responsive, the brain receives the rich sensory input it needs to build foundational connections - the ones that quietly shape how your child moves, learns, feels, and grows. Through gentle movement experiences and early reflex wellness support, we encourage the brain-body conversation that helps children feel more settled, coordinated, and ready to thrive.

  • As both a provider and mother, I’ve seen sensory and movement support create meaningful shifts in how children experience their bodies, movement, and daily activities.

This gentle, body-based approach is offered alongside Craniosacral Fascial Therapy (CFT) and supports children who may have difficulty with focus, coordination, balance, or sitting comfortably during learning and play. It is especially supportive for children ages 3–10 who may appear constantly in motion, have a hard time settling their bodies, or find certain movements and tasks more challenging.

Through hands-on care and guided movement, we support the body’s ability to organize movement patterns, improve body awareness, and access greater ease and comfort. This work focuses on supporting the body’s natural ability to organize movement and respond to its environment with greater ease.

Babies and toddlers can also benefit from sensory and movement support, particularly those who may seem tense, unsettled, or uncomfortable in their bodies, or who experienced early stressors around birth or feeding.
